I liked this book, but at no time did I feel this was a book I couldn't put down. The three stories seem to revolve around the magic of tales: tales create magic or magic can be found by reading them or knowing them. Two of the three books in this omnibus involve tales within tales. I think I preferred the final story, The Bell at Sealey Head, but they were all finely written. Sometimes, however, I felt form overwhelmed the narrative.
Fantastic anthology, rwally readworhty, good with a collection of her novels rather then short stories even if they are great!
